Background
I've been training dogs, professionally, since the summer of 2012, after graduating from Clemson University with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Biology. I spent a year working and apprenticing under some of the best pros in the business, before going out on my own in the spring of 2013, as the owner and head trainer at Mossy Pond Retrievers North. Since then, I have earned 5 Grand passes, 3 Grand Hunting Retriever Champions, 7 Master National Passes, 2 QAA dogs, and have qualified for the SRS Crown Championship in 2012, 2013, 2014, and am currently qualified for the 2015 Crown Championship with a top 6 finish in every SRS event I have ran. We currently have 11 dogs qualified for the 2015 Master National. Besides running UKC Hunt Tests, AKC Hunt Tests and Field Trials, and the SRS, we have built countless gun dogs for the avid outdoorsman.
Why I Use SportDOG Brand
With a love and passion for retriever training like no other, I take my profession very seriously. Whether I'm making minor adjustments on a gun dog, tuning them up for hunting season, or implementing a correction on one of our students the week before Nationals that is hundreds of yards away, the demand is always the same ... My e-collar can never let me down. Day in and day out, I know that when I reach for my SportDOG Brand collar it will be reliable, and that's why you’ll never see anything in my hand.
Favorite Products
The SD 2525 is by far the best product I’ve ever used. A transmitter that's durable enough to outlive anything you can throw at it, and at the same time also being able to finesse corrections with the capabilities of having a low, medium, and high stimulation with only 2 buttons to worry about makes this dog trainer’s life much easier.
